·        Sewing Machine Service

            Austin’s has a full, on-site service center repairing and maintaining all makes and models of sewing machines and sergers.  We do our best to accommodate customers with emergency sewing needs by scheduling appointments for those who need service while they wait.  Our normal turn- around time for machine service is one week or less. 

·        Training

            When you purchase your machine from Austin’s, private training classes are included to assure your comfort and knowledge of the machine.  Extended training is available at an hourly cost for private lessons and here are several monthly clubs for customers who wish to fully utilize their machines.  Customers who have purchased their machines from other sources may schedule hourly training with one of our knowledgeable teachers.

·        Education

            Austin’s offers group classes in garment sewing, pattern fitting, quilting techniques, home-decor, machine embroidery, thread painting, machine felting, fabric dyeing, embroidery software, beginning quilting, beginning teen and adult sewing, hat embellishment, lingerie construction, American Girl doll clothes, and we are always adding to our class schedule.  We also bring in guest educators regularly.

·        Long Arm Quilting

            You can finish all those quilt tops in 2009 on our Baby Lock Jewel.  The Jewel long-arm is set up and ready for you to play.  Just call and   schedule your time.  We offer on-sight training for those who have not used a long-arm machine.
