EM03: Embroidering Free-Standing Book Marks



In this class you will learn the correct way to make free-standing embroidered items by making a book mark.  You can choose from 4 designs, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, or Daughter.  Knowing the correct stabilizer and understanding how these designs are digitized will help you to be successful with this type of project.
THIS
PROJECT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR 4 X 4 HOOPS.

SUPPLY LIST
Your embroidery machine in good working order, embroidery foot, electric cord, 5 x 7 hoop.
Your machine must have a USB port to load the design.
Embroidery Thread Colors: Several colors of pastels or brights.  Refer to the photo.
1 pre-wound embroidery bobbin.
Embroidery scissors or snips
     When you register for class please let us know what format your machine uses and which bookmark you want to make in class.

You must know the basic operation of your machine. You can be a total beginner with free-standing lace embroidery.

Embroidery file and stabilizer for project.
Requirements:
Machine with a 5 x 7 hoop and USB port.
