Reading Pillow Kit (from Austin’s Sewing Center)

Students choose either “sports”

themed pillow fabric or “mermaid” pillow fabric. The embroidery for the reading

pillow pocket is included in your kit.

White All-Purpose Thread and Bobbin

Sewing Machine, Manual, Foot Control and Power Cord

Basic Sewing Supplies including scissors, seam gauge, measuring tape, marking

pen/pencil, straight pins, sewing machine needle (size 12 universal), Hand sewing

Needle, All-purpose presser foot.

Skill Level:

beginner

Skill Details:

Total Beginners are welcome. Learn to create a faced/lined pocket, accent detail, attach handle and close pillow with hand sewing.
